Alex Bregman is a 2012 SS/C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Albuquerque Academy. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Very advanced right handed hitter, deceptive strength, fluid swing, short and quick to the ball, good balance, squares the ball, pull power, confident approach, aggressive. 6.84 runner, solid infield actions, good balance, works through the ball well, fluid exchange and release, throws carry. Also catches, raw footwork but quick hands and feet, playable arm strength, 1.87 best pop, will keep improving with repetitions. Plays above his physical tools, top performer, 2010 USA Baseball Player of the Year for his performance with the 16U National Team. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State. Named to the Perfect Game All American Classic team.
