Valentin Ceballos is a 2028 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends New Braunfels. Large, ahtletic frame iwth broad shoulders and long limbs, present strength throughout with additional room to fill. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, rhythm to operation on the mound with leg lift up to chest; full and fast arm action through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, plenty more in tank, mostly true in life but creates nice downhill plane to it. Simple delivery and repeats it well, fastball holds plane through the zone. Curveball shows sharp and tight bite with 12-6 shape up to 69 mph and misses bats. Maintained velocity throughout, impressive outing. Big arm strength across the diamond that plays on the left side, over-the-top slot on throws, comes through the ball well, shows lateral range with carry and accuracy on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and slightly open stance; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Occasionally gets mistimed but does a nice job of staying short to the baseball, comes off of the barrel well when squared and flashed carry to the middle of the field, swings with intent.
